As you watch the 52-minute session, you will notice that each and every one of these instructors engages in recommended inclusive teaching practices. Since we've been hearing so much about inclusive teaching as of late, I decided to do a little research on what nationally recognized inclusive practices look like!
The PDF that I have included here contains excerpts from multiple sources, including ACUE, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inside Higher Ed, and others (I condensed many of them to the major recommendations, but have included the source links for all of the articles) regarding recommended practices for inclusive teaching. I love the opening quote from the Inside Higher Ed article, "5 Principles as Pathways to Inclusive Teaching":
