ADJUNCT FACULTY

Adjunct faculty are highly valued and an integral part of Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Approximately 600 adjunct faculty members teach 60% of the classes at CGCC. The Adjunct Faculty Group (“AFG”) is a Maricopa Community College District Employee Group that includes individual Campus Reps and Board members who are representatives for each of our District campuses.

Want to become a Campus Representative?

Current Adjunct Faculty member serving one or more Colleges within the District are encouraged to run for office. Each college representative must be an Adjunct Faculty member who has been in paid service within the last [calendar] year, is in good standing, and does not currently have other full-time positions within MCCCD.  The process includes self-nomination on an election ballot under the ‘Call to Serve’ election process.  At the time of election, ‘good standing’ is verified by the College Administration/Office of the President. You can find the complete Campus Representative Job Description here. Check your Maricopa inboxes for the latest nomination and election details.
