TURNITIN

Turnitin is the leading provider of plagiarism detection and prevention software. At Maricopa Community Colleges, Turnitin is integrated directly within the Learning Management System Canvas to support faculty and students in the quest to create properly cited original work. The CTLA can help you enable Turnitin for your Canvas assignments and teach you how to interpret the Similarity Report provided to you and your students.

CGC uses the Turnitin Canvas Plagiarism Framework integration as of Fall 2019. To use it see the Canvas Turnitin Plagairism Framework Instructions. Make sure to change all your assignments to the new Turnitin Framework or your assignment will not open normally, instead it will loop to the homepage with a broken link error. Please watch this video with instructions on how to change an assignment to the new Framework.
