The dawn of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought with it a plethora of applications and insights, impacting nearly every sector. From healthcare to finance, AI-driven technologies have proven their worth. Yet, when we talk about the educational sector, particularly higher education, there's still much debate on how AI can be efficiently integrated. AI offers both exciting opportunities and unique challenges for faculty and students.

Check out some of the content shared at our September Lunch & Learn: AI Chat, and be sure to sign up for our upcoming October chat below!

Time for teachers to get moving on ChatGPT

The AI and tech landscape is highly dynamic with the number of new GenAI Web Products exploding. Like ChatGPT, the majority of these products didn't even exist a year ago. According to a recent
AI study, ChatGPT still dominates the market with
  • 60% of monthly AI traffic,
  • 1.6 billion monthly visits, and
  • 200 million monthly users.

“Educators need to hurry up to get acquainted with ChatGPT and other AI-generated systems and start learning for themselves about the risks and benefits of using them in the classroom," said participants in a webinar sponsored by the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

What is a good starting point?

AI for Education offers a FREE, 2-hour, hands-on, introductory course designed to help educators get started using Chat GPT for a variety of educational purposes such as:
  • lesson planning,
  • creating engaging assignments,
  • building rubrics, and implementing AI responsibly.
AI for Education also offers an extensive Prompt Library for Educators utilizing GenAI chatbots like ChatGPT, Claude, Bard, and Perplexity.
