Microsoft Office 365 apps

Microsoft 365 for Employees

As of August 1, 2024, Microsoft updated its licensing model for educational institutions. This change affects who can install Microsoft Office 365 on personal devices. Guide: Microsoft Office 365 | CGC Help

What This Means for You: Full-time faculty and staff still have access to download and install Office 365 on personal home computers. However, part-time and adjunct faculty no longer have access to install the desktop applications and can only use the web-based versions through the  portal (m365.cloud.microsoft). You can continue to access the web versions (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) by signing in at portal.office.com with your MEID@maricopa.edu login.
