Turnitin is a tool available in Canvas that can help faculty review student submissions for similarity to online sources, publications, and other submitted papers. The Similarity Report is intended to support conversations about source use, citation practices, and academic integrity; it should not be used as the sole basis for determining plagiarism.
At CGC, Turnitin is available through the Canvas Plagiarism Framework integration. Faculty can enable Turnitin within Canvas assignments and choose whether students can view their Similarity Reports.
