The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment at Chandler-Gilbert Community College promotes excellence in instruction to enhance the learning and success of all students. The CTLA team is dedicated to serving as collaborative partners with faculty by providing guidance in meaningful learning experiences, innovative instruction, the effective use of instructional technology, and assessment of student learning in accordance with college, district, and accreditation guidelines.
In support of this mission, the CTLA provides:
- Support for assessment of curriculum and student learning
- Promotion of teaching and learning resources, research-based recommended practices, and scholarship
- Faculty development events, training, workshops, and resources
- Instructional design consultations and course-design assistance
- Support for online, hybrid, and technology-enhanced instruction
