This week's tip comes to you straight from my Friday morning meeting - the entire meeting took place via Webex, and we set up breakout sessions to divide the 24 people into small groups to do some work/brainstorming. We wanted to hear from each of the small groups, but we really needed to stay on track with our time. Solution? We took a tip that Jen P. shared in several of last year's LOL workshops, and included a 3-minute video countdown timer on each of our "report out" slides to keep each group within a specific time limit. After the meeting, I saw several questions in the chat asking about the timers. Adding video timers to your Google slides is as easy as 1, 2, 3:
BONUS: When Jen introduced the idea of using countdown timers in our "Tips for Navigating Live Online" LOL session last Fall, she put together two slides of Favorite 5-Minute Countdown Timers. HAPPY TUESDAY, EVERYONE! Mary
