WHAT?
This institute will provide participants with 12+ hours of dedicated time with leads and experienced practitioners of the AAC&U High-Impact Practices you are most interested in integrating into your classes and other student learning experiences. Participants will be able to work one-on-one and in small groups with HIP initiative leaders to formulate, deepen, and strengthen learning experiences that seamlessly integrate multiple HIPs, enabling students to more quickly and easily achieve course, program, and institutional outcomes. Participants will be expected to implement their HIPs-stacked project/assignment in one or more of their CGCC Fall 22 classes and to share their work with interested CGCC faculty in Spring 2023. WHERE? The institute will take place in person at CGCC. WHEN? May 18 - 19th COMPENSATION: Participants will be compensated for up to 17 hrs at the summer faculty rate (~$31/hr): 12 hours for May 18th & 19th, and up to 5 additional hours of individual work and/or consultation with HIPs leads in June, July, or August (virtually or in person) before the Fall 22 semester starts.
